About Me
I’m back for a second round at the San Antonio Express-News as a metro reporter/videographer (previous incarnations included crime reporter and communities reporter); I’m a fledgling (flailing?) documentary filmmaker and got my Masters in Journalism, with a documentary focus, from UC Berkeley in May 2009. I like to take random photos of random things and then make you look at them. I am one of those writers who will do anything not to write.

what??? where’s your family from?
My family is from SA. I am related to the Davilas that owned the various glass companies in SA and the radio station KEDA.
